Listen & Lyrics
I live in a trailer
and my neighbors pay the rent.
With cash and beer and cigarettes
and sometimes their ears lent.
To all my silly stories, and all of my laments.
I live in a trailer, my neighbors pay the rent.
I wish I was taller,
by one or two feet.
Then everyone would have no choice
but to look up to me.
If only I was taller, then I'm sure that you would see.
I’d shake free from all my insecurities.
I live in a trailer…
What can I hope for, and who can I hope in?
What peace can I rest in? And when will that begin?
These days are long, these nights are long,
these nights are long, these days.
These nights are long when in your bed dissatisfied you lay.
I live in a trailer…
So cut my tummy open,
and pour some liquor out.
Grab a couple donuts, and put ‘em back in my mouth.
These days are long, these nights are long,
these nights are long, these days.
These nights are long when in your bed dissatisfied you lay.
